Cecil D. Andrus (1977–1981)

Cecil Dale Andrus began his political career in the Idaho State Senate in 1960 and went on to serve as governor of Idaho for four terms. He rose to become secretary of the interior in the Carter Administration from 1977 to 1981.

Andrus is founder and director of the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University. He became a member of the Gallatin Group in 1995.
